  • General Baptist Ministries has been serving in Mexico for over 15 years, partnering with local churches to share the Gospel and develop Christian leaders.

Ministry efforts include three churches in Juarez, one in Chihuahua, and a growing network in Tijuana. Recent expansion has extended into Baja California Norte and Chiapas. Four Bible institutes are currently operating across the country, and Pastor Rene Rodriguez serves as the coordinator for Hispanic education, helping to equip new generations for ministry throughout Mexico.

  • General Baptist Ministries has a long-standing presence in the Philippines, with a strong emphasis on leadership development and theological training.

In Davao City, the General Baptist Bible College (GBBC) exists to train and equip generations for Christian service. Founded in 1965, GBBC has prepared pastors, Christian educators, musicians, and ministry leaders who now serve across the Philippines and beyond—including in business and government roles. Classroom instruction by well-trained faculty is complemented by hands-on ministry practicum. The student body is vibrant, ministry-minded, and deeply compassionate toward the people they serve.

In the tribal regions of Mindanao, the Matigsalug Bible Institute (MBI) has been operating since 1978. Established by General Baptists to train pastors and Christian workers for rural and tribal ministry, MBI offers accessible theological training—especially for students who have not completed high school. Life and learning happen in community, as students, staff, and their families live on campus. In addition to preaching and ministry, students are trained in practical skills such as farming and facility maintenance to help sustain the ministry.

  • General Baptist Ministries has maintained a vibrant presence in Saipan since the founding of Saipan Community Church shortly after World War II.

Planted by Reverend Ed Stevens, the ministry has grown into a thriving church and school located along the beach road in the Susupe area. Saipan Community School, serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade, operates as a ministry of the church.

Both the church and school reflect the rich diversity of the island, with members and students from the U.S., Japan, China, Korea, Palau, Chuuk, the Philippines, and beyond. The ministry is supported by two full-time pastors and a dedicated team of school personnel committed to serving the multi-cultural community of Saipan.
