guidelines for paid ads in the Messenger?
Two-color ad space may be purchased
on a graduated scale. Ads are to
come into the Messenger office
either in scannable form or on
computer disk capable of being
"dropped" onto the page in Macintosh
PageMaker or eps format.
Messenger staff will not be
designing ads. If a group needs
assistance, we recommend Stinson
Press, the General Baptist printing
arm: 400 Stinson Dr., Poplar Bluff,

686-6011; or Email the director,
Dale Bates. Since
the Messenger's second color changes
with each issue, our staff will
determine where to place the second
color on the ad, noting the
customer's preference.
Half of the ad cost
is due at the time the ad is
accepted, with the remainder billed.

advertising in the Messenger?

Messengers are planned three
months in advance. Paid ad material
is accepted up to five weeks before
publication date as space is

Churches may submit articles of up
to 300 words for the General Baptist
Life pages each month. Articles may
be sent by regular mail to Myra Dye,

Email. Regular
photos or jpeg photos are accepted.
Deadline: 5 weeks before
publication.
How can a
church advertise its need for a
pastor?
Mail or email church name,
location, and pastoral need. Include
contact information. The Messenger will
run this information for three
months. Contact Messenger if need is
longer. There is no charge for this service.
