Congregational Ministries exists to equip churches to make disciples, develop leaders, and grow healthy.

We do this by encouraging church renewal and refocus through New Church University training and by conducting church health assessment weekends.

Senior adults, teens and lots of church folks are inspired and trained in large group and workshop settings at Senior Adult Retreat, National Youth Conference, and the Mission and Ministry Summit.

Our goal is that every General Baptist church would be:

  1. Renewed and thus filled with a new spiritual energy.

  2. Relevant and thus able to reach the local setting in which they find themselves.

  3. Resilient and thus able to approach the future with confidence as the lifespan of the church is seen to extend beyond the current generation.

New Church University

Every church that survives more than a generation goes through several eras of refocus. Often this refocus is a reaction to changing circumstances. The death or relocation of key leaders may require a church to refocus. The loss of a major employer and the resulting economic downturn may require a church to refocus. Rapid population growth in the community may require a church to refocus. Every church that survives will refocus.

Learn how New Church University can provide the tools to help church leaders gain a better understanding of their calling, their mission and vision; and provide church leaders with the tools they need to better understand their local community. » Read More
