10,000–Unreal

Well here we are. back to 10,000 ten years after we hit it the first time. it feels good, but a little scary. is this the real thing and will we hold relatively close to that level or will it go up or down? no one really knows. the housing crisis is still looming and it seems that consumption is not going to increase quickly, so manufacturing will be slow to progress. jobs will be scarce and therefore the income available will be minimal.
so, where does that leave us?
everything i have came from God. He is in charge of this thing, no matter how much others think they may be in control. i am trusting in Him to care for me, my family, my church and all that is precious to me. i invite you to share in this peace of mind that passes understanding of the worldly ways.
today could be the day that we lose it all by the world’s standards. however, if we have love for God, ourself and others, we can manage to get through another day with hope.
wishing the best for you as we face these uncertain times. one thing is certain–God loves us and Christ died for us to have eternal life with all the saved in a place called heaven. i want to go there and have as many as possible to join me. think about it–ask if you need help.

in this last economic down-turn the number one porblem that contirbuted to many families having difficulty was lack of emergency savings. How about you, did you learn and are you saving now? i can help you organize your finances, budget and get you out of debt if you want the help. i have schedules and details to support my plan. contact me if interested.

in or out of the pool???

Boy this is a really interesting time. We have regained about 30% of losses from the low, and now it appears there is a pull-back again. You will have to have a really strong stomach to follow this path. –peace
Just be aware, do not get too confident in money. it will bite you everytime.

Dow 10,000????

Here we go again, is it real. I look at the Dow up 122 at 10 a.m. and wonder is this going to last — or is this just what they want us to think is good and see investment pour in and then pull the rug from under us. I felt it would recover, but surely not until 2010 late in the year.
I just saw a report that Japan will face unrest if unemployment rises there, but i wonder if this market falls again after inflating so quickly, will people revolt here due to getting jerked so violently financially in the last two years?
I trust we will move forward, however, money should never be our god, there is only one God, and we should wake up to that reality.

Stock Market Surge

Wow, what the average Joe sees is a great thing. 45% recovery from the low at DJI. But is it too much too soon? it sure appears to me that way. i don’t have the means or knowhow to really understand where to put my mutual funds to assure there will be anything there when i need it.
have we come to that point in time that there is no recovery: the end of prosperity as we know it? it could be. i am not as concerned about money as life beyond this earth. i just want to make the best of these situations for family and ministry.
should i be allowed to see some of the tribulation, i want to be certain to be a leader in sane and Godly wisdom. it is going to be really bad at some point. are you ready to face life like you have never before had to?
my new house will have no value then, i do not own it free and clear, therefore it will revert to the bank. my car will be of no value as i won’t be able to afford fuel. my job will not exist therefore i will have little income potential.
will this happen within one year, ten years, one hundred years, no one knows but God.
i just want to be ready when the time comes to do correctly what is expected of me not for me but for others to accept God and Jesus.

How do you feel about the status of the recovery?

i am hearing so many conflicting opinions regarding where we are going with this recovery. i am very pleased that i have now recovered almost 18% from my low in my IRA. that part is encouraging. if i listen to the dooms day reports, i would expect this to evaporate again.
who do you believe? and what is the truth?…i started to say “the real truth”…but truth is truth anything less is a lie.
i realize this is a day-to-day ride and i am thankful i am not trusting in money for my happiness…i just makes a lot of things easier.
i would like to think each of you are experiencing gains in your current investments too. maybe it will get back to the levels before the fall, but not today, this year and probably a couple of years…just make sure your priorities are right and you are seeking good counsel regarding where you place your trust.

Nervous yet??

Wow, DOW got a real lift last few days, down today, but ????
Do you feel like we are on a string like puppets? I certainly do. my scripture this morning from Ezekiel 7 sure sounds like our times. I’m not dooms day, but tough times are a coming. Trust God not man or money. That is our hope, Christ is the answer.

Whata weekend

amidst the turmoil of the market and housing deals, we have decided to “catch” a good deal on a different house; take on debt again, WOW. it is against all my instincts, but looking at the broader scope of things. sometimes it is best to try to help others so that is what i am attempting to do. i don’t need more, but if God is in it, it will be OK. now i am trusting He will provide a buyer for ours to complete the transaction smoothly.

The plot thickens

Where is it all going? Some companies are showing profits (figures lie and liars figure–sometimes) are they real? Another guy is saying that with the huge commercial real estate fall that is approaching and the personal real estate that is continuing toward 20M soon, we are in for a real shock if we thing we are out of this thing yet.
All i know is pray like never before for my family, friends and church to be protected from this situation…Blessed indeed, Borders expanded, God to keep His hand upon us to guide in the right direction/decisions, and keep us from evil and evil from us.
His peace, steve

Getting out of debt
