Dear Shareholders, Prayer-partners and Ministry-minded,

An awful lot can happen in a month, especially when three teams have worked hard on their mission trip!  WE NOW HAVE ELECTRICITY IN OUR CHURCH BUILDING!  But, more on that later.

A team from OCU arrived and worked on various construction projects…they started re-doing the front wall at Agua Viva (the church in Juarez), pouring cement to reinforce the walls of the church building, pouring the cement beam across the top of the walls…then, seeing the sights.

The team from Henderson, KY area arrived on May 20.  While they were here, we had security windows installed throughout the whole building.  We also had our front security doors installed, and did LOTS of painting.  They laid electrical wiring in conduit, installed a cooler and ceiling fans.  WOW!

When the team from Dexter 1st arrived, they finished up some painting, and put the first coat of paint on our new security bars that were installed in the front fence.  They did cement work and  held a 3-day VBS where three adults and seven children were saved!  Also, got the electrical power on in the Sanctuary.  AWESOME!

PLUS…SOME REALLY BIG NEWS FOR ME!

I FOUND JESSICA!    I was able to share with many of you about Jessica, the little girl I met when I came to look at the ministry last year.  She was the one who stepped out of the van with about a dozen other school kids and appeared a little shy about coming over to us.  I bent down on one knee and asked her name (Como se llama?) and she threw her arms open, came running, and …said “Jessica” and hugged me like I was her daddy.  A little of my heart stayed with Jessica.  She came to the VBS with the Dexter 1st Team.  Here she is, all cleaned up and a year older!  What a wonderful sight!!

I would like for you to meet her.  Think about forming a team and come help us!
